Father's Day Classic Campout

Fathers and their little tykes will enjoy the thrill of camping without the hassle of hauling gear and provisions to the woods.

After arriving at the Zoo's Camp Timbuktu, you and your child can settle down in your tent (provided). A yummy camp buffet dinner will be served, followed by activities and games (how about a little father-and-child competition?). Dr. Zoolittle will amaze campers during a private bubble show, and children will have an opportunity to make their special dad a Father’s Day gift. After a night hike to see what our animals are up to when the sun goes down, you’ll return to camp for more fun entertainment and make s’mores at the campfire.

Don't foget about all the animals you'll see! You'll be treated to special viewings of our California condors and New Guinea singing dogs, and you'll meet one of our wolves, as well as other fascinating critters, up close.

Wake to a delicious hot breakfast in our new Sabertooth Grill, which overlooks our Elephant Odyssey area, and enjoy a special viewing of our California condors before breaking camp. We'll visit the New Guinea singing dog family, and you'll have a chance to meet one of our wolves, as well as other fascinating critters, up close, before heading home with lots of happy memories.
